The range of road bikes on offer from Genesis has grown considerably this year. As well as lots of incremental updates to pre-existing lines, there's the introduction of some snazzy new models and a larger women’s range.
2017 Genesis Equilibrium 30
For 2017, you can no longer buy an Equilibrium in its high zoot stainless Reynolds 931 form, with all models in the line up moving to 725.
Although Genesis has dropped the higher end tubing from the line up, it has added an Ultegra disc model to the range with the Equilibrium 30 and it looks so cool. The seriously zesty green, red and black paint-job stands out in a world of monochrome mediocrity. Topped off with those delicious Clement Strada skinwall tyres, this bike looks really quite special.
The Equilibrium 30 keeps the same carbon fork with an alloy steerer as the previous generation and features the Fulcrum Racing Sport DB wheels seen throughout the rest of the road range from Genesis.
With a full Ultegra, hydro disc groupset and the ability to fit proper full-cover mudguards, the Equilibrium 30 looks set to be an ideal year-round, mile munching machine.
