Katie Compton’s Trek Boone Disc

American Katie Compton won her 14th national cyclo-cross championship earlier this month. Currently fourth in the UCI rankings, Compton is also a four-time winner of the Pan Am Championships. Here we take a look at one of her Trek Boone bikes, built up by her husband and professional 'cross mechanic Mark Legg.

Trek recently added the IsoSpeed decoupling system to the front and rear of the Boone Disc. The dual design first appeared on Trek's Domane endurance road bike.

Compton's bike features many custom touches — click through the gallery above to see them all — but the basic frameset is identical to what you can buy: a 600 Series OCLV carbon machine available on its own or as a complete bike.

Trek offers custom paintwork through its Race Shop Limited program — but the Pan Am Champ's paint scheme is Compton's.
