With the July 1 start of the 104th Tour de France start in Dusseldorf quickly approaching, the start list for the French Grand Tour is taking shape. The likes of defending champion Chris Froome of Team Sky and BMC's Richie Porte are confirmed for the team but the riders to support their overall aspirations are yet to be announced.
The final teams for the Tour de France are likely to be finalised after the European and North American weekend of national championships. Several teams have announced long lists for the Tour with final decisions also to be influenced by performances at the Criterium du Dauphine and Tour de Suisse this month.
