Marianna Vos (Rabo-Liv) won the third stage of the Women's Tour of California in Santa Rosa. The Dutchwoman, who is racing through her comeback from longterm injury, won the dwindled group sprint ahead of Coryn Rivera (UnitedHealthcare) and Emma Johansson (Wiggle High5).

Megan Guarnier (Boels-Dolmans), who also finished in the front group, maintained her lead in the overall classification by 12 seconds ahead of Kristin Armstrong (Twenty16-Bikerider) and 22 seconds ahead of Evelyn Stevens (Boels-Dolmans). Vos currently sits in fourth overall 44 seconds back.
