Bike brands aren’t the only ones rethinking what gear should look like for riding road bikes on dirt roads. Clement Cycling has just launched its third road tyre in the company’s X’PLOR adventure/gravel series, called the Strada USH, a 32mm tyre that has a fast-rolling centre and grippy shoulders.

Clement’s X’PLOR tyres are made for riders who like to mix in a little dirt or gravel to their riding, whether for fun while commuting or for pinning on a number in organised gravel rides.

The Strada USH is one of Clement’s best all-condition tyres for improved dirt roads

The new Strada USH is a combination of Clement’s Strada LGG road tyre and the company’s X’PLOR commuter, the USH. Coming in a plump 32mm width, the Strada USH has herringbone treads for traction while turning, and it comes in both tubeless (£TBC) and clincher (£TBC) models.

“The Strada USH is one of Clement’s best all-condition tyres for improved dirt roads,” said Clement director of product development Johannes Huseby. “Tubeless, it helps fend off common pinch flats which otherwise can occur frequently when riding on gravel, dirt and shale surfaces.”
