A look inside the pits at Sea Otter

In North America, the Sea Otter Classic is often the first big race of the year for many riders. Before and after the battle of competition, a lot of mechanic work is involved, and in this gallery, we're letting you in on some of that action. 

Outside of Monterey, California, a few pros flipped the script, as WD-40 athletes like Rebecca Rusch, Leigh Donovan and Teal Stetson-Lee washed and prepped the bikes of everyday riders. 

In this gallery we also take a look at some of the pro bikes like that of Canadian cross-country specialist Geoff Kabush, who piloted a Scott Scale to the short track win, or Kyle Strait's Commencal Absolut DJ bike.
