Fed up of ugly bike hooks and industrial metal racks on your walls at home? Daniel Sculnick has come up with a simple solution – the handmade, wooden, Simple Bike Rack, and he's launched a call for funding on Kickstarter.
Described as a 'simple, sleek bicycle rack designed to be a minimal wall fixture when not in use' and made in the US, the Simple Bike Rack is made from American birch plywood, steel and alloy with a polyurethane top tube holder. When not in use, it folds up against the wall. To use, it flips down to reveal a plastic holder on which the top tube of your prized bicycle rests.

The Simple Bike Rack can take up to 160lbs / 72.5kg, and is available in a choice of four finishes: mahogany, ebony, natural and walnut.
