Long before Garmin Vector and PowerTap P1, Look had a pedal-based power meter called the Look KéO Power. One major obstacle for widespread acceptance, however, was the lack of compatibility with standard cycling computers. That will soon change.
As part of a partnership with Polar, the Look KéO Power only worked with Polar computers and then, more recently, with the rare computers that use Bluetooth Smart.
In January, new Look KéO Power pedals will come with Bluetooth Smart and the ANT+ wireless protocol, finally making them compatible with Garmins and other regular bike computers.
