At 1.86m or 6ft 1in, Lotto-Soudal’s Adam Hansen isn’t the tallest rider in the Tour de France peloton, but he certainly boasts one of the most aggressive bike set-ups seen on the pro circuit.
Hansen opts for Ridley’s Helium SL, as opposed to the Belgian brand’s Noah SL aero road bike. It’s a pretty traditional road racing bike with slightly compact geometry and internal cabling for the Campagnolo Super Record EPS gearing, but not the rear brake. It also boasts a retro decal treatment for that timeless finish.

Hansen’s chosen set-up features a power-meter-free carbon Campagnolo Super Record crankset with a relatively rare 54/39t chainring pairing and extra-long 180mm cranks. Pedals are Look Keo Blade models seen throughout much of the professional cycling world. The rear cassette gives cogs ranging between 11 and 27t.
The most extreme aspect of Hansen's set-up is the cockpit, which features a monster 150mm Deda Zero 100 Team stem clamping oddly narrow 38cm Deda Zero 100 Team bars.
The Campagnolo Bora Ultra 35 aero wheels are wrapped in Continental Competition Pro LTD tubs. Hansen picks Selle San Marco’s Concor saddle.
