When the 2012 Vuelta a España was unveiled, the Collado La Hoz was never rated as an important climb on the map. It’s just another climb in Cantabria, leading to Fuente Dé, a beautiful site at an altitude of 1000 metres above sea level, in the middle of spectacular rocks in the chain of the Picos de Europa.
