The Eurobike show is where all the top bike manufacturers show off their latest wares, and Basso was no exception.
In the video below, the brand gives BikeRadar the lowdown on their latest Diamante and Astra race bikes, and the Pista track bike.

Diamante spec details
- Size 53 weighs 830g before it is painted
- There are no aluminum reinforcements on the bottom bracket and head tube
- The monocoque construction utilises Toray T1000 and T800 high -modulus carbon
- The ultra low head tube has seen the introduction of a ‘comfort kit’ to extend the use of the frame to all users
- Extra stiff frame
- UCI-approved
- It comes in six color options, including the silver-red-white
Astra spec details
- The Astra is a new frame for 2015
- Its geometry is not as extreme as the Diamate’s, although it uses the same technology, and can fit mechanical and electronical
- The monocoque frame is made from high-modulus Toray 3K carbon
- The complete bike weighs 6.4kg
- Disc and non-disc versions available – the non-disc version is UCI-approved
Pista spec details
- The Pista is a new model for 2015
- It was developed with former Cuban Olympic team athletes
- Currently under UCI approving
- It has a monocoque T700 Torayca frame and fork, and an integrated wheel release
- Gives an aero riding position
