In celebration of all things women's cycling, and as part of International Women's Day, BikeRadar is excited to announce that pro cyclist Tiffany Cromwell will be taking over our Instagram feed for Tuesday 8 March.
Cromwell, part of the Canyon//SRAM team, will be sharing insights into the life and work of a pro cyclist. From the food she eats to the training she completes, and from how she spends her downtime to what the team do together, she'll be posting regularly throughout the day.
Hailing from Australia, Cromwell first started racing track aged 13 before making the transition to road, and has seen a strong start to the 2016 season with a third-place podium position at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. This year will see her aim for several major career goals, with the Rio 2016 being a longstanding ambition.
The Canyon//SRAM team have an impressive roster for 2016, including Trixi Worrack, Lisa Brennauer, Alexis Ryan, Hannah Barnes, Alena Amialiusik, Elena Cecchini, Barbara Guarischi and Mieke Kröger. As well as Canyon and SRAM, other notable sponsors include Rapha, which has designed their eye-catching kit, and Zwift, which – through the Academy programme – is offering one woman the opportunity to become a member of the team for 2017.
If you've ever wondered what it's like to be a professional cyclist in one of the top ranked UCI women's team, here's your chance. All you have to do to get involved is pop over to Instagram and follow BikeRadar.
