RockShox has packed a bit more value into its budget-minded fork line. For 2017, the Recon Silver, Sektor Silver RL and 30 Gold RL all feature RockShox Motion Control dampers. Other updates include broader wheelsize compatibility, 'boost' 110mm axle options and lighter crowns.
Recon Silver RL
The Recon Silver RL sits just below the Reba in the RockShox suspension hierarchy. It uses a Reba crown with steel, rather than alloy, upper tubes.

The Recon Silver RL has 32mm stanchions and is available in 80, 100 and 120mm versions for 27.5 and 29in wheels. It’s offered with 100mm as well as 110mm front axle spacing.
The claimed weight for the Rekon is 1,960g.
