The SKS Spaero pump looks like an oversized alloy cigar tube – it's smooth and sleek with a brushed finish.
It’s 27mm in diameter and 24cm long, extending to a maximum of 53.5cm. A flip-up rubber cover reveals a pull-out 12cm flexible hose with a double-sided screw-on head for Presta and Schraeder valves.
The bracket mounts the pump beneath a bottle cage – the most secure way of housing it on your bike – and it’s well sealed against spray. You can carry the Spaero in a rear pocket, but its length and 160g weight mean there’s a chance it’ll jump free unless it’s placed centrally or held by pump loops.
The handle rotates into a T-shape for easier pumping
Extend the pump, then slide the aluminium handle cover off the inner handle and rotate it through 90 degrees to create an offset T-shape, which is easy to hold securely, even in large hands or gloves, and makes pumping far more comfortable.
