Specialized Demo Pro shorts review

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J

You’d be forgiven for thinking these were trail shorts, weighing in at a mere 330g (34in size) and manufactured from four-way stretch material. But despite their pedal-friendly hallmarks, Specialized has actually designed the new Demo Pros for gravity riding.

Out on the trail, they’re a pleasure to wear. Their stretchy construction not only makes them superbly comfortable; the fabric feels great against the skin, avoiding the need for a separate mesh lining. Front vents deliver a decent enough stream of cooling air that, combined with the lightweight material, ensures you don’t overheat even on the hottest of days.

With a 406mm (16in) inseam, the length is spot on for downhill riding, but these shorts have proved great for a wider variety of riding disciplines. The detailing and durability has proved to be of the highest quality too, which helps justify the high price tag.
