Madison Road Race shorts – in brief review

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Madison has gone for traditional mostly-black with its Road Race shorts, with just a dash of colour on one leg to liven things up. The legs in question are at the longer end of the range, which we like, with broad grippers at the ends.

  • Highs: Long legs, well-positioned pad

  • Lows: Pad a little thin

There are no silicone dots or strips inside them, but they work well for all but the spindliest of limbs. The pad is on the thin side, but what padding there is is well-positioned – it extends well forward and is effective for sustained riding in the drops. Fit is good, if not quite up there with the very best.
