InstaBike app for social sharing

The new InstaBike app from Polish bike brand Kross is a simple way to share pictures over social media – but with a cycling slant.

Users can choose to overlay photos of their beloved two wheelers with 17 slide styles from four categories – city, I love bike, mountain and touristic.

You can add travel destinations (the distance is calculated for you), current location, your name, bike brand and, coolest of all, the current altitude – perfect for post-KOM conquest selfies.

The shots can then be uploaded to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare or WhatsApp Messenger.

The free app was created by Polish bike brand Kross and is available on iOS and Android.

Kross’ Jakub Sadowski said: “We have created an application which we, as bicycle enthusiasts, would like to use. We are becoming increasingly mobile, everywhere we bring smartphones and we like to brag about our achievements. Instagram and Facebook are full of images of cyclists who document their passion this way every day. We decided to give bicycle users the ability to personalise and enrich their own photos with additional content, and so InstaBike was created.”
