About how so many of us in North America – including a vast swath of the U.S., and most of Canada – are dealing with what seems to be the coldest winter in memory. For added emphasis, it’s snowing today in Atlanta as I write this, and the temp is well below freezing. Winter is the time of year that this all-important drivetrain components can fail, too, so if it’s wet, cold or snowy where you live and you’re riding in the muck, keep reading. Or, if you live where it’s summer now and you rode right through winter and haven’t checked your freehub, you should read this, too.
