Prologo’s CPC technology revolutionised saddle surfacing with its volcano shaped micro-pillars a few seasons ago. The advantages of the supple-yet-grippy surface were immediately obvious to anyone who tried it.
Here at the Taipei Cycle Show, we've been shown the new iteration of CPC which is claimed to significantly improve vibration isolation, so early in its prototyping that it doesn’t actually have a name yet.

They claim that the new honeycomb patterning of the CPC texturing improves airflow to keep your downstairs cooler, and give the micro pillars more flexibility as they aren’t so grouped across a large surface area.
Prologo used the help of a research lab to test the vibration ratings and found it 12% better at vibration reduction than the previous generation CPC, and 25% better than a non-CPC saddle.
