The claimed sub-1000g Threshold carbon frame uses a 142x12mm thru-axle rear end and comes equipped with a with a full carbon fork with 15mm thru-axle. The carbon Threshold series uses size-specific layups and tube diameters to lend an appropriate level of stiffness to each frame size. Additionally, Norco has developed an internally-routed cable system, dubbed GIZMO, that creates a tight seal at entry and exit points, blocking water and debris from entering the frame. The two-piece GIZMO plugs pinch and hold cables firmly in place. The company claims this system will preventing rattling at entry and exit points.

Norco will offer the Threshold in four carbon and four aluminum versions. Pricing for the Threshold series will range from US$8,485 for the top-end Dura-Ace equipped carbon model to the US$825 entry-level aluminum bike. (UK pricing TBA.) The Threshold series will be available this summer.
