e*thirteen TRSr wheels review

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J

e*thirteen’s lightest enduro wheel is a super-tight and agile performer, but it’s crazily expensive.

The ‘race’ version of the TRS has more metal machined out of the advanced alloy rim extrusion to save weight. The short, tight spokes are anchored into super fat carbon-barrelled hubs, giving fantastic acceleration despite middling weight. Feedback is pin sharp as well, and they carve corners extremely well thanks to the tyre fattening wide/shallow rim profile.

The hubs on our recent test wheels are holding up better than previous versions too, and spare axle spacers, spokes and even an XD Driver Body are included. The soft splines of the conventional freehub gouge easily though, and the price is wallet wounding.
