New Rock Shox upside-down fork teased - RS-1

RockShox have just started teasing the release of a new fork via their Facebook page. Details are slim at the moment, but the given images clearly hint at an upside-down design. The slim profiles in the images make us believe that this fork is designed to be light-weight; but it's designation remains unknown.


Currently RockShox are releasing segmented images of the new fork every 24 hours. We suspect all will be revealed within the next 48 hours.


The RS-1 naming hasn't been seen since RockShox's first fork – released in 1989.


And the stanchions appear....upside-down. : This image shows slim legs meeting the steerer and brake cable routing : The first teaser happened two days ago - hinting at rockshox rs-1 fork:
