UK Firm Raw are now offering a leather carry handle for Brompton folding bikes. Made in the UK, it's a retro-fit item that aims to make carrying a folded Brompton an easier task.
The £49.95 handle attaches quickly to any Brompton frame using four decorative fasteners and, once in place, the handle also doubles up as a frame protector.
The Raw handle is not alone – there's a readily available UK-made alternative known as the Off yer bike handle. The basic version of the Off yer bike handle retails for £39.95, and there's also a more expensive option that uses a shoulder strap.
So why would you stump up the extra tenner for the Raw handle? It'd have to be down to its classic looks. It's produced from saddle leather and is available in either black or brown. The Raw Brompton carry handle will soon be available from Cyclesurgery and Action Bikes.
