The Atom isn't the most complex or advanced bike computer available, but as can often be the case, we've found this works in its favour.
The information it displays is easy to read, and it is quick to get set-up. The angular aesthetics look good too.
Setup is a five-minute job; the head unit attaches by way of a velcro band, making it easy to take on and off. The relatively large sensor secures with zipties. This is a shame because the versatility of the velcro strap for the head unit is a bonus.
It needs to be close to the magnet, so getting it working requires a little more attention than some. The button has a positive action, and it's easy to scroll through the sensibly ordered functions and options. The head unit doesn’t activate automatically – this is great if you’re used to this, but frustrating if you forget.
