Shimano Zee crankset - in brief review

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Don’t let its price fool you – Shimano's Zee crankset is a serious performer for the hardest riders.

Sticking with solid forging keeps costs down, but the broad based, deeply scooped arms are still very strong and feel rock solid under your feet.

The steel axle and pedal inserts are designed to cope with the ugliest landings, and the simple plate chainring is impressively impact-ignorant too. It’s conventional, not narrow-wide, but the 104mm BCD makes upgrading easy.

A quality BB is included and you can get aftermarket BB30 adaptors. The arms scuff easily, so get some protective tape on.
