Spilak wins fifth Dauphine stage as Kelderman creeps closer to Froome

Simon Spilak (Katusha) rode to victory in the fifth stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné on Thursday.


Wilco Kelderman (Belkin) and Adam Yates (Orica-GreenEdge) were both 14 seconds behind and placed second and third.


Chris Froome remains the overall race leader, holding a 12-second lead over both Alberto Contador (Tinkoff-Saxo) and Kelderman.
