To celebrate its 110th anniversary, Italian brand Wilier has released a new and very limited edition bike: the Zero.6. Only 200 bikes are available, and it even comes with a matching limited edition pen.

With an appropriately grandiose flourish, Wilier states that this bike is "110 years in the making". It will be available with Campagnolo, Shimano or SRAM transmissions.

Each bike will have its own number

A claimed 15% weight saving

Wilier claims the Zero.6 frame weighs in at under 680g. This would shave nearly 15% off the frame weight of the previous incarnation of this bike, the Zero.7 – no mean feat.

"It is not difficult to eliminate 100 grams from a standard frame. We have done it many times over the years," says a statement on Wilier's website. "But if we have to take 100 grams off a frame that weighs less than 800 grams, the going gets tough, if not impossible."
