Tomorrow, February 16, Specialized and SRAM will auction five S-Works Tarmacs equipped with Red eTap, with all proceeds donated to World Bicycle Relief. These will be the first Specialized bikes available with SRAM's wireless electronic 11-speed group.
World Bicycle Relief is a non-profit that provides bicycles to students, health workers, and entrepreneurs across rural Africa, Southeast Asia and South America. World Bicycle Relief has delivered over 275,000 bicycles and trained more than 1,000 mechanics.
"World Bicycle Relief is innovating to ensure people have access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity. We are inspired by this extraordinary auction whose proceeds will go to fighting the barrier of distance that separates individuals from their independence and freedom," said FK Day, founder and president of WBR and executive vice president of SRAM.
