The team at MBUK and BikeRadar has kindly given me the opportunity to contribute a guest blog where I plan to share my adventures over the coming year, but first things first, I want to at first of all introduce myself to you all and let you know what sort of things you can expect over the coming months...
So, I’m twenty years old, I come from Shropshire and have been riding and racing for around 5 years. In the past, I’ve focussed more on downhill racing, but after discovering just how good enduro bikes are, I’ve decided to make the switch!
Rolling into 2014 with a month in sunny California, luckily facilitated through a university placement. I’m now back home in not so sunny Shropshire, reflecting on dusty SOCAL trails and frantically saving for the summer, while getting ready for the upcoming season. My race season begins in April with a few UK races to kick things off before embarking on a summer long road trip through mainland Europe where I'll be hitting up as many races along the way as possible.
My plan is to deliver as much race coverage as I can for you all with plenty of stories from life on the road, as I embark on this epic adventure with plenty of juicy details of those all-time riding spots we all dream of - stay tuned!
