Peter Sagan and Mark Cavendish show appreciation for each other on Twitter. And fans absolutely love it.
While the 2017 Tour de France is over for Peter Sagan and Dimension Data’s Mark Cavendish, the two have quickly moved to ensure that there is no bad blood between them. The incident between them, that lead to a crash at the end of Stage 3, has been the big talking point of le Tour so far. But while many continue to debate about it, the two riders are ready to move on.
A recent interaction between them on Twitter made certain the world knew that they were getting along fine. It started when Sagan tweeted an image and wished Cavendish a speedy recovery.
Cavendish in turn replied, gracefully, calling Sagan “Class” and saying he is proud to know the Slovak.
The interaction between the two has earned them plaudits from fans, with many replying in admiration for their sportsmanship and willingness to settle the incident like mature adults.
