Chloe Hosking (Wiggle High5) is on a roll in the Women’s WorldTour, winning stage 3 at the Giro d’Italia Internazionale Femminile on Monday in Lendinara. The Australian also won a stage and the overall title at the Tour of Chongming Island.

This time around, she out-sprinted Italians Marta Tagliaferro (Ale Cipollini) and Giorgia Bronzini, who is also her teammate.

"It was unexpected for me, I'm shocked," said Hosking after the stage. "I really don't like the narrow curves close to the finish but the team did a great work and I must thank my teammates."

The field finished all together and so Evelyn Stevens (Boels-Dolmans) maintained her lead in the overall classification ahead of Katarzyna Niewiadoma (Rabo Liv) and her teammate Megan Guarnier.

The Giro Rosa headed back to the Veneto region for a flat and fast stage 3: 120km from Montagnana to Lendinara.

Stevens, who won the first mountain finish on stage 2, started the day in the maglia rosa.
