Megan Guarnier (Boels Dolmans) claimed the first scalp at the Women's Tour of California - the first WorldTour event on US soil. Guarnier out-sprinted Emma Johansson (Wiggle-High5) and Kristin Armstrong (Twenty 16-Ridebiker) on the uphill finish in South Lake Tahoe.
