Enduro has announced a new series of bottom brackets called TorqTite that promises to eliminate persistent creaking issues. Although TorqTite is designed to fit frames with press-fit bottom bracket shells, it uses a clever thread-together design for a secure – and hopefully quiet – fit.
Instead of merely pressing into the frame like standard PF30, BB386EVO and PF86/92 bottom bracket cups, TorqTite bearing cups are internally threaded and connected to each other with a central sleeve.
When the whole assembly is tightened down, the frame is effectively clamped in between the cup flanges for a much tighter and more secure fit than you typically get with press-fit plastic cups.

There will be no chintzy plastic bits to be found, either. Enduro is using machined aluminum for all of the TorqTite bearing cups and central sleeves, and they’re all made in the US near the company’s headquarters in Oakland, California.
